Abel Longboarding

I went to St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where I spent a day with Abel.

Abel is a 16 year-old who lives in a jungle roost with limited indoor plumbing (standing under lush trees, listening to jungle bugs and singing frogs while I showered under a bucket of cold water, was refreshing and beautiful) while his mom lives on her sailboat. We hitchhiked, found shelter from thick raindrops under trees, walked up giant hills and drank the most rewarding smoothies of our lives.

nice set. Once again, colors are great. Sometimes only one or two key elements catch the eye, but then lead to a grander exploration of the photo. Little Abel!!!

Hey thanks you two! Visit a jungle roost, you’ll love it – if you don’t mind a few hundred bug friends.
